Going Out

Today me my two cousins Alazay and Jydon and my auntie went op shopping.  First we drove to the op shop in Glenn Iness  and we looked around to see what we liked. We chose some things I bought one pants and three tops they looked nice.  My cousin Alazay go four  things also. After that we bought some lunch we had some hot chips and some drinks they were delectable. Then as we were walking to pak n save we saw a ride for Jydon and it was a small train and he liked but we had to move on we walked to the car but then we had to go home. I t was a really fun day I enjoyed it

Hanging out at home

Today me and my two cousins chilled out at my house. It was fun right now me and my cousin alazay are playing on our netbooks and my other cousin qayd is watching t.v. For dinner we had chicken nuggets and chips they were so delicious yum!!!!!!:)

I went to the Movies

Today I went to the movies. First me my two cousins and my auntie took a bus. Then it took for ages but we finally got there I just couldn’t wait. We got out of the bus and we went to go get our tickets.

After we got our tickets we walked to Pak n Save and we bought loads of lollies and chocolate and then it was movie time.

We got ice cream and drinks we sat in our seats the movies we saw was the Croods it was really funny and cool the part I liked the most was all of it.

After that we went to go to get some sushi it was really yum.  Then we had to go home it was a really fun day.   

 

Pancakes Yum!

Today for lunch me and my cousin Alazay and Jydon  had some pancakes with maple syrup and nutella they may not look great but they taste delicious. YUM!

Today I learnt about two digit numbers.I had to solve how many tens in 88 and I did

The Red Poppy Drama

For Drama today Miss Eeles  read us this book called the Red Poppy. We had to do a group freeze frame from the book. Our freeze frame showed after the rescue when Jim gave a poppy to Karl as a symbol of friendship. I think I did well I stood still and made no sound and I had fun doing it. 

The Number of Tens

I have been learning about the number of tens. I had to solve how many tens are in 184 and so I did 180 + 4 =184. There are 18 tens and 4 ones that make 184.

Whose artwork do you like the most?

I like Zeba’s artwork the most.

Why did you choose this person’s artwork?

Because she took her time and it wasn’t rushed. Also it is bold so it stands out and her artwork looks like her.

What would you do next time to ensure your artwork is just as good?

I would try to make my face look like me next time.

If you were going to give this person a rating out of ten what would you give it and why?

9/10

Because she did a little smudge on one of them but that’s okay other than that it looks great.

My Andy Warhole Artwork

This my Andy Warhole artwork.  We had to take a picture trace it on a piece of paper do the out line with vivid and finally we had to dab colours with a cotton bud. Once that was done then you had to cut  the 4 papers evenly and mount them on to a black piece of paper to give it that colourful look. I hoped you enjoyed it.

1. Are you pleased with your Andy Warhol themed portrait? why / why not?

Yes

because I liked how I used contrasting colours.

2. What did you find easy when you created your portrait?

I found using the black marker pen easy because I knew where to go.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your portrait? -think about tracing round your face, outlining your face using a black marker pen, dabbing areas using the dye, dying the background.

It was tracing around my face because you have to get it detailed and include the finer features such as nose, eye brows, hair line.

4. Who / What helped you when you were creating your portrait?

Miss Paton because she took me through the steps.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: tracing around your face, features on your face, dabbing the dye colours, colour choice, photograph, time management skills.

It would be doing my face better.

6. What frustrated you when you created your Andy Warhol themed art work?

It was tracing around my face because I had to go over it a number of times.
