The Tri kids day





On Friday was the big race for tri kids instead the pool we used a slip n slide.

In the picture is a person wet with a helmet riding on a bike and in the slip n slide we

had to do it four times and we had to do two laps for running and two laps for biking

and was so slippery! and on the grass.  And the in the finals was me, yevtte, Kyra, Leenas

and the boys patrick, puke, robert and dontalian and it was so fun and in the end everybody had

The recipe for Making Anzac Biscuits By Lavinia M


½ cup white flour
½ cup of sugar
¾ cup of coconut
100 grams of butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons boiling water

1. Stir the flour, sugar,rolled oats,coconut and put them in a bowl.
2.Get an adult to help you to melt the butter and golden syrup in a
saucepan over a low heat.
3.Put the baking soda in a cup.  Ask an adult to help you add the boiling water.  The mixture will foam up.  Add this to the mixture of butter and golden syrup.
4.Pour the liquid mixture into the flour and other dry ingredients.  Stir.
5.Grease a baking tray.  Put tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto the tray, about 4 centimetres apart.
6. Bake at 180c for about 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden colour.
